Prairie Elementary has 2 First Lego League teams consisting of 4th and 5th graders. Due to the high demand, students have to apply to be a part of the club. Prairie FLL meets twice a week in either morning or afternoon sessions for approximately 2 months. During this time the students build Lego robots. They then program their robot to complete challenges on a game board. In addition, each team has create a project/plan to solve a real world problem. At the end of the season, students compete in a district competition.
